Tachy implements active anti-fraud and bot-protection protocols to protect our users and upstream financial networks (such as Open Banking networks and payment card networks). As part of this, when you view or pay an invoice:
We collect information provided directly by freelancers during onboarding (such as business names, physical mailing addresses, and portfolio/domain verification URLs). Social authentication providers (like Google and GitHub) supply basic identity elements used exclusively to establish and verify user credentials.
Tachy does not sell or distribute user profiles to advertiser networks. Account and website URLs are shared solely with manual underwriting departments of our regulatory and API providers (e.g., Yapily, Stripe, Paystack) to maintain compliance and facilitate live direct Open Banking bank-to-bank settlements.
All communication channels utilize industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Core user profiles and audit trail data are hosted securely inside encrypted databases protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
